Tracey has been quilting seriously for over a decade and her professional experience includes lecturing to guilds, teaching workshops, creating original quilt patterns, and appearances in many national quilt publications.

Tracey recently organized her sixth international quilt challenge - Transatlantic Challenge II - with Christine Porter. The quilts will be shown at the PVQA Quilt Fair in February 2007 and at Back Porch Gallery in Pacific Grove from April to June 2007, before being sent to the UK for several shows. Previous challenges were the 2005 Australian Challenge II, 2004 Transatlantic Quilt Challenge with Christine Porter of the UK, 2003 Australian Challenge / Quilts Across the Pacific, 2001 Tour de France / Challenge Franco-Americain, and the 1998 Japan Challenge / Santa Cruise.

In addition to her quilting background, Tracey holds a BS degree in Chemistry with a professional background in technical writing. She lives in Pacific Grove, California with two teenagers, an energetic dog and a very understanding husband.
